Post event report:

9 riders gathered at Silver Park on a cool morning with some threatening clouds to ride the Bitterroot Trail and our Fort Loop with side extension to the Kelly Island boat launch then continuing to the Milwaukee Trail to return to Silver Park. An extended stop at Fort Missoula Regional Park while ride leader changed out an inner tube due to a slow leak. Ride was otherwise pleasant and very enjoyable by all.

Pre-ride information:

Given the current long range weather forecast, Tuesday, 6/27, looks to be an in-between day for another morning ride but the afternoon looks to be topping out at 79. I am posting this ride as a morning ride at 10:00 AM. Any cancellation/postponement will be posted here and a cancellation email will be sent out not later than 5:00 PM the day before the ride, Monday 6/26, to all who have RSVP'd.

We will decide on a route as we gather. I will be at Silver Park by 9:45 to begin check-in of the riders for this ride. We will try to leave Silver Park as soon after 10:00 AM as possible. To accommodate our retired riders who want to enjoy a slow paced ride we will be riding at a pace comfortable for our slowest riders. No one will be left behind. 

While this ride is targeted towards UM Retirees, it is open to all MBC members. Please remember that these will be slow to moderate pace and minimal elevation change. Please RSVP if you’re considering joining the ride so that you will be provided the leader's contact information and can be informed of any late-breaking changes (e.g., weather-related cancellation).
